SALEM, Mo.—Missourians in the market for used cars, trucks, ATVs, tractors, farm implements, boats, motors and trailers can bid on all these and more at the Missouri Department of Conservation’s surplus property auction Oct. 18 in Salem.

The Conservation Department holds one or two surplus property auctions annually, depending on the amount of property to be sold. Bidders can register then or the day of the sale. The gates will open at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 18. The auction will begin at 10 a.m.

A complete list of sale items will be available at the registration desk the day of the sale. To request a tentative list of sale items, call 573-522- 4115, ext. 3279 or 3283.

All property must be paid for on the day of the sale and before removal. Acceptable methods of payment include cash, MasterCard or Visa or personal checks with proper identification.
