Pumpkins “Head” To Dickerson Park Zoo

It’s time for the 3rd annual “Bring-a-Pumpkin-Bigger- Than-Your-Head” pumpkin drive for Dickerson Park Zoo.

In preparation for the 24th annual Halloween SPOOKTACULAR, Friends of the Zoo is asking families in the community to contribute pumpkins for this annual fall extravaganza. The zoo uses more than 1,000 pumpkins during SPOOKTACULAR. Area school children generously donate their time and talents to carve the jack-o-lanterns seen throughout the event.[more]
