About freshare.net

Take a breath of fresh air, or in our case, freshare. We are building the Ozarks’ premier community for anyone enthusiastic about the outdoors. freshare.net is celebrating and exploring what we feel is the Ozarks’ most precious resource - our outdoors.

Whether it is news about the environment, suggestions for a greener lifestyle, tips on gardening, stories about nature and wildlife in the Ozarks or even ways to experience the outdoors in your own backyard, freshare.net is there.

And, as in any community, this one is highly interactive and participative. We not only welcome your input to articles presented on the site, but we also invite you to post articles of your own. Hike a great trail you want to share? Have a kickin’ recipe for outdoor grilling? Want to share photos of the Ozarks outdoors in our galleries? freshare.net is the place to do all that and more.

We started out as a new media, general news site for the region but we soon found our voice as an advocate for the outdoors life. We still consider ourselves a new media site because, rather than rely on a bullpen of reporters to write stories, we depend on our readers to share information.

From gardening and landscaping to grilling and recipes, plus a section on the night sky, this category covers your own piece of the outdoors.

recreation
Outdoor sports of all kinds. Hiking, biking and fishing are broken out separately and there will be more special sections as time goes on.

gallery
Take a look at the random photos or stop by one of the galleries to see more. Plus, a chance to upload your own images to the galleries.

store
Still in the works but beginning to take shape, the freshare store will offer books, apparel, photos, calendars, cards, adventure packages and an opportunity to sell your own unique items.

Each web page on freshare also offers the visitor a chance to sign up for our weekly newsletter, RSS feeds and our widgets for your own web site, blog or for your desktop. Just a few more ways to stay connected to the Ozark outdoors.
